APX/PCC
APX/PCC
APX/PCC is a powerful tool for planning and controlling company-wide production workflows in data centers (DC) across platform boundaries. The improved utilization of all resources leads to increased data center productivity and significantly boosts the service level of the DC operation. The scheduling system can be flexibly integrated into any IT infrastructure and offers unlimited scalability. APX/PCC is certified for SAP NetWeaver.
Due to the scalability and reliability, APX/PCC caters to the need of any company running DC operations. Also, APX/PCC enables companies such as IT service centers to serve different customers using a single system.
The central element of APX/PCC is the scheduler. It includes all essential and necessary information about productive jobs and processes. The main advantage is its high flexibility. The user decides where the scheduler system is implemented. He can choose between the following operating systems: Windows, AIX, HP-UX, Sun Solaris, Linux, or z/Linux. All information is stored in a relational SQL database. APX/PCC can work with MS SQL Server, Oracle, or Informix.

APX/PCC is independent from any hardware or software environment. The system offers you the ability to fine-tune all IT services in terms of planning and controlling, business needs, and user requirements. We focus on user-friendly functionality and user-oriented development.

The APX/PCC scheduler plans, schedules, and controls the entire enterprise batch workload within a heterogeneous IT environment. In addition to mainframe platforms (z/OS, OS/390, VM, VSE (native modus or under VM), OS/400 and BS2000) jobs and processes of distributed client-server systems and their applications (Windows/NT/2000/XP, Unix, SAP R/3 and SAP BW) are centrally managed and automatically scheduled by APX/PCC.
APX/PCC is an all-in-one software solution, which offers many advantages:
APX/PCC is the only system on the market that does not require a specific platform or database. This property ensures the highest flexibility during the implementation period. There is no need for any prerequisites. APX/PCC can adapt to the existing infrastructure as well as any expansion and future progression. The system's ability is hugely profitable for IT-Service-Centers, which are constantly taking on new customers or have to implement new applications from existing customers.
APX/PCC can manage different clients within the same system. It enables a structured organization within all customer's applications. The system serves all customers within one IT service center. Strict authorization management protects from illegal access to the database.
APX/PCC is the only system that creates a daily workload plan. This plan can be created for any day, checking the sequence of jobs and controlling the workload. Other systems offer that option only for the current day. This function allows the user to plan in advance if special ad-hoc requirements occur.
In case of a problem or an emergency, you can speak directly to our developers. Our customer support prevents any production delay or unnecessary downtime.
Fulfillment of customer requirements
If you have any specific needs, you can contact us directly. Special customer requirements will be implemented in the system as soon as possible.
Job parameter preparation
APX/PCC offers functions to prepare job parameters automatically (e.g., symbolic parameters, calculation of dates), which are not available in other systems.
Defining operation scripts
The APX/PCC user can create operation scripts, which will be executed when a job is canceled, a return-code is sent, or text strings are found in job logs. No other system can provide these functions.
